Preparing Your Case
The most important part of this stage is to meet with your lawyer as soon as you can so that the memory of your situation is fresh.
Between now and the start of a (possible) trail, there will be court appearances to obtain all the details of the case against you.
As your lawyer, I will attend those on your behalf, so that you can keep your focus where it needs to be: On your life and your case.
Once I have all the details of your case in front of me, we will meet to talk about different approaches, and the pros and cons of each one.
I will advise you on how to proceed; either to resolve the case (this when charges are withdrawn, you plead guilty to a lesser offense or guilty with an explanation) or the case will go to trial.
I will give you the very best of my information, opinion and advice. My job is to make sure that we explore every single option available to you. In the end, it is your decision and I want to make sure you make an educated choice.
